silver jews: full time hipsters in the new economy

back when i used to work at the goldrush on elliston in nashville tennessee with my shaved head and david soldi is my best friend street cred, this guy david burman would occasionally come in.  he would talk really loud.

he wore hipster clothes.

his house was a vintage deco trip.

his gal was a leo with chanel lip gloss.

one day on hollywood blvd i pick up the onion and see him therein, and feel like, hey i know that guy.

when david soldi would tell  me the name silver jews it freaked me out a little.  david told me they were a bit famous, they had an underground hipster following.



that is brian kotzer running around and getting beaten by david burman's mike.  he played drums with david soldi in communist and the brian kotzer band which re-branded as funiki.
