In April 2011, the files of military analysts who had considered his case were published by The New York Times and other news organizations. They show that Mr. Qahtani was leashed like a dog, sexually humiliated and forced to urinate on himself. He was also forced to dance with a male interrogator and to obey dog commands, including "stay," "come" and "bark."
