Russian Interference in European Elections Career diplomats and experts from the U.S. and Europe testified at a hearing Russian influence in democratic elections. The witnesses described observations and effects of past Russian activities and strategies to disrupt democratic systems, and made recommendations for how Western countries can best defend against and counter Russian cyberwarfare.
