so this guy julian shah-tayler gave me his six song CD "un ange passe."
Cover for "Un Ange Passe" in memory of Christine Shroy. Photography of Christine by Natalie Clarke.
being all digital and zen and stuff, i do not like the material world, CD's etc, and hey can listen to the myspace with i already twitted a link to anyway up onto the twittasphere.
i was going to ditch the undigital hard copy, but then decided . . . drum roll . . . to listen to a "CD."
okay, i'm not going to say anything bad about today, or this week
except i can only soak up so much before supersaturated . . .
or
you bring your own thoughts, project them on me (a screen), and eh voila, you have your own reality.
and hey man, scorpio is here . . . and water sign time coincides with . . .
so i guess i want to find "shah" or "juliandrinkme" as he goes by on myspace and tell him how nice it is to have a CD this afternoon to put in a battered little CD player for the fun of it.
kind of cheers me up.
i like his retro esthetic which spans kraftwerk to eighties synth pop to exalted bowie and jeffree starr, may i say?
i've see julian shah-tayler singing at bardot a few times now on thursdays . . .
well----to be honest, its been very grey, hot, and smoggy today, and i think i should quit various activities, as the vibes outweigh the piddling benefits . . . but maybe music will fix my brain again.
is it safe to say that certain kinds of cruelty are deliberate?
Did you know that Jeffree Starr recorded a vocal on Wetter for his management company. They ditched the idea, though! x Thanks, Julian x
