in other words, i could oppress him via the social contrivances of old and new eras . . .

fortunately, barry has no extra citizenship to offer, and i think oppressing people civically is unattractive.
he got to hear an earful of the sad state of american jurisprudence which protects marital rape in many states, and the history of marriage civically and legally.
sadly, california still propounds a level of marital rape immunity in the prosecution guidelines, for spouses who rape. like extra leniency, reduced statute of limitation, easy sentencing, bc like dah, and its the middle ages, and like, ownership . . .

he is really so far the sweetest guy since nick maybury. and he's an aries, fire! so my intensity is not a problem, i hope. plus he knows a lot about music and has a sensitive ear. it was such a treat to jam out with him & nick 20 september 2010. he had a really comfortable way about him . . . and the hebrew lesson made me sob . . . i just really want to learn hebrew. it has a musicality i'm interested in.
