violet vision, shay raviv
trying to look for an old picture of shay raviv from a deceased hard drive.
the first thing i said to him, was "do you like music?"
2007
i wanted to talk to him because he had sparkly eyes.
cool style.
i think i will copy the current wiki on him here.
to me, violet vision, is a way of seeing the world, the war, the never ending slaughter. i think he just added a bunch of impt details to wiki. he texted last week he is in israel.
the chicago 8 film is the vietnam film he mentioned. he saw the youtube of nick's 09 pluto set and wanted something from it for film scoring. that would be so cool if i could set my friends up on artistic appointments.
shay made me quite sentimental, about his persistence. kabbalah. when he would come back from israel, i would say, "i'm glad you are not dead." and he would say, yeah me to.
welcome to the oil spill 2010 april.
he told me i'm smart. i'd try to get him to go for a walk.
he was in a rock band called caveman.
he played keys. he would never play for me, but a few times, and it was like hearing philip glass.
a friend of his explained the club scene as a heavy escapism from the war scene.
