law office dream
had a dream last night that steven t. wax author of kafka comes to america, about representing guantanamo detainees--invited me to his law office to help with documents
greedily i was finding lots of things to digitize that were ultra obscure and rare to put online
the office was in a upper floor up an old elevator of a huge grandiose victorian skyscraper with a mysterious cinematic tim burton interior with lots of spooky woodwork and red carpets and papers loose and scattered about
possibly in edith wharton's new york or scotland (?)
i began rummaging around wax's law documents in seventh heaven, but he was no where to be seen
he had invited me, in the dream, for a sunday day of work, which was confusing to me, except obvious that he is a workaholic and would naturally work all weekend
why he wanted me there was a mystery, but i was delighted in the dream to be there, snooping and anticipating his arrival
i was hoping he wouldn't mind getting all the supporting documents online, but i was possibly scared to ask
i was quite honored of course
