hey everybody!

thanks for fighting for Ben Pickering!

Attached are copies of Ben Pickering's recent medical report on his diagnosis Post-Concussion Syndrome. His CAT scan is burned to a disk and i will look it over ASAP.

Please note his need to avoid LOUD NOISES and bright lights and prolonged exertion.

great seeing him get the kind of serious medical attention his Portland Police Brutality inflicted Head Injury deserves! Getting to medical Professionals who take Head Injury seriously is critical.

Once again, Metropolitan Defender Dawn Andrews, please do not raise your voice, verbally berate, or chastise Ben Pickering on the phone, it is very BAD for his painful headaches and Post-Concussion Syndrome!

Health, Peace, and Light!!

The Denial of Medical Care was documented by Police Officer Stuart Palmiter who deserves major Kudos for helping Ben Pickering in his time of need, post PPB assault.

Many Thanks to Cindy Lemons for originally saving Ben Pickering's life and the the United States Coast Guard and the EMT's who responded with Life-Flight.

Mary,

I just talked to Pete Castleberry and Emily Elison called me just after I talked to Pete.  As I understand it, you didn’t retain Pete and Emily.  You need to make sure that Dawn Andrews knows you are stranded and won’t make it to court tomorrow.

The number at her office is 503-225-9100.  I know you are not happy with Dawn’s representation, but she needs to know that Ben won’t make the court date tomorrow, so that she can help Ben not get a warrant for failing to appear.  If Ben needs medical attention or otherwise cannot get to court, the judge might be willing to continue the court appearance without issuing a warrant, but Dawn has to have that information to present to the judge.

Please contact her and let me know that you did.  I really want this to work out for you and Ben, but the first step is making sure he doesn’t get a warrant for missing court.

I can’t really help you with being stranded.  Where are you exactly?

Is the doctor’s note to explain why Ben will miss court?
