Apparently, credit screening for job applicants has been stopped since 2011 in response to this.

Me: hello I need a dispensation as far as the credit report bc i am a victim of a violent crime so had unheard of expenses. This will not affect my performance i will not need reasonable accommodation because I spent enough money to get out of that mess.

Her: Oh we only check DMV and legal.

So is she saying she is aware of the law or are we fencing around here? Me being open and because of this she's saying she wouldn't violate the law?"
