Dear Mary Eng,
This letter is to inform you that your complaint related to the police response to protest activities on November 25 and November 29, 2014, is currently being investigated by the Independent Police Review (IPR). The assigned IPR investigators have interviewed many civilian witnesses, collected video evidence, retrieved police records, and are now interviewing officers from different units of the Portland Police Bureau.
We appreciate your contact with IPR to address your concerns on that day. If you have additional documentation, such as videos or witnesses that you would like to provide IPR, you may still contact us with this information. The next phase of the case will take at least 60 days.
