this disturbing footage shows Barry Stull getting arrested prior to his scheduled communications speaking slot at Portland City Council.
he was loud, but was the first on the list to speak.
as Barry and his supporters realized he was being perceived as in a "Mental Crisis" they demanded an ambulance, to avoid being brutalized by the Portland Police.
i dont think the police handled the arrest well at all, or that it was even necessary.
i believe the foundation was to prevent Barry's message on homelessness, misconduct from a city partner, weed, etc, to stay off the record.
i don't think he anticipated getting arrested for what are our normally rowdy activist presentations.
David Kif Davis filmed it, and was arrested for filming, although surely he did it for the safety of all.
the Police confiscated his camera for several days to get this footage.
Davis is facing two counts. He's running the Multnomah County Copwatch twitter account if you need more info.
concerned that Barry normally gives the same speech over and over about the trauma he experienced becoming homeless.
the struggles he faces with homelessness are what he is referring to in terms of ---trying to kill him---i believe.
normally Council tries to restrict and interrupt his content, or censor him.
city hall is deleting the record of his legitimate sign in.
i copied it to my blog suspecting they might delete the record.
his requests for an ambulance not respected.
despite his loud voice, i think the meeting could have proceeded without a violent arrest.
on the pdx egov youtube site, the city has blanked out the 26 minutes of footage of their arrest, and there is significant footage missing due to the security guard's assault on the camera-man Kif Davis.
David Kif Davis is facing a permanent exclusion from city hall. He is disliked and frequently censored at city hall for bringing up pedophilia scandals affecting Oregon, Washington County, and PDX.
