 i mary rose lenore eng was signed up to speak immediately after david kif davis. None of the reporting surrounding this issue point out that i used the first moments of my speech to effusively reach out to Ms. Prosper and offer her my personal apology. I was able to summon the word "disgraceful" to describe the comments. I could sense in her body language a wincing. I have also reached out to offer my insight and apologies via email, without confirmation of receipt. My previously good rapport with Judge Simon at the 2014 Fairness Hearing contributed to his congenial attitude with me, but i felt it unfair that David Kif Davis was allowed to go on and on and on, whereas Simon cut me off rather shortly. Was it because of my apology? Or because Simon and I are totally cool and schmoozy and we know we dig each other bc we joked around about Foucault in 2014? It was getting late, everyone was tired and hungry. I distinctly felt like David Kif Davis knocked out the possibility of my speech being effective or en pointe, due to the energetic collapse created by his shocking statement. Judge Simon, Max Bernstein, and Dirk Vanderhart Neglect that I Immediately apologized to City Attorney Prosper. What the transcript does not reflect, is that i was looking at her in the face and felt an immediate need to clear the air and distance myself from the insensitive remarks. What i can further apologize for is that perhaps my apology was not effusive or effective enough because i did not clearly state who or what i was responding too. As David Kif Davis said the offensive thing, i immediately bolted up from my seat and stood at attention by the bar HOLDING THE SWINGING DOOR Open so he might exit all the faster, as the air was poisonous. I believe i muttered to Lightning, i'm going to go deal with this. Now the fact of the matter of Pro or anti-CIA coup detat attitudes is the point where i really got lost, as i vaguely remember amy goodman's democracy now show on Aristide, but it is all so muddled in my mind.  so when i tried to say that not many people understand the history or politics of Haiti, i was not trying to be a david kif davis apologist, but rather to say that Aristide and Charlie Hales are apples and oranges, and i don't know Aristide. Charlie Hales clearly has no respect for human rights or the US Constitution. Why David Kif Davis centers in on the beautiful black attorney, i would argue is from an afrocentric worldview which posits that minorities are somehow on a pedestal of superior ethical integrity. to not collaborate with oppressors. We know white man is a pr*ck, but as a Jewish fellow persecuted to the brink of insanity by relentless malicious anti-semitic prosecution and whistleblower retaliation by City Of Portland, Davis was reaching out to his fellow oppressed non-WASP types. Davis may disagree. Tom Steenson said davis doesn't need anyone to try to explain what he means. I realize that i was immediately defensive for her as a black woman attorney, admiring her education and poise, yet pitying the piss-poor legal strategy of City of Portland in claiming they don't do deadlines. I think she and Osoinach have a full plate of BS to serve up in Simon's court, which is why they get paid the big bucks and we pitiable amicus curiae get paid the nada.  If Hales hadnt crushed and maimed Davis he might get a better reaction. I reached out to Davis when it seemed he was in distress. I tried to get to know him. He prides himself on fighting for Black Anarchists etc. I don't think Jewish radicals and Black radicals can separate their historic unity of struggle. If there is something else going on with racist portlandia, i wanna know. david kif davis is vicious about everyone, even his friends. he says he is pretty mellow for a new jersey guy. maybe he smokes too much pot and his brain is like swiss cheese sometimes. he is sometimes brilliant and sometimes an idiot. that goes for all of us. but please please accept my apology. the fact that davis was bullied at COAB for being Jewish seemed to quite rankle Simon. So if City wants to be square they need to stop hiding Mark Kruger's swastikas all up with ms Tracy Reeve's office, fire the NeoNazi Cop for good, and stop playing the race card when its convenient. It sucked and was horrible. I cant but condemn the way that came out. I think he has a twisted crush on her. I dont know. it was disgusting. i am still traumatized. Charismatic people can be intensely hurtful. The fact that Judy Prosper was used to cover up crimes like the brutal police contract stampede on Yom Kippur does not escape my notice. When and if Ellen Osoinach and David Landrum and co. want to make good on their 100K salaries and start giving City some GOOD LEGAL advice and not time-wasting bickering advice, they'd instill a lot more respect from all parties, and we could get thru all this time wasting. Sadly, Ms. Prosper can't (successfully) sue Davis for Civil Damages (cause he's broke), and if City neglected to point out the crude abrasiveness---they could be held liable as party to a HATE CRIME or Civil Rights violation. Why they dont understand City inflicting Mark Kruger on the public is a HATE CRIME and a civil rights violation I DONT KNOW. as it seems perfectly obvious to me. I hope Mr. Wheeler sees what i see
