emotions by linda walker 6/29/16
emotions
emotions of a child
at early age in life
i turned five we moved
in to a house in the country
i remember liking it first
i had a dog named tippy
we played a lot together
she got ran over two times and when i called her
she came to me
we ate ice cream together
and we ate dog food too
i remember moms reaction
when my dad told me to show her
a lizard we found out side
she screamed and got up on the table
i thought she was going to
fall threw the window
i heard dad laughing out side
we got chickens, but they died
there was a creek that went a long ways
one day i went fishing
but i went threw a field
but on the way home an old farmer
grabbed me and gave me a French slimy kiss
he told me to look at three black birds
hanging dead on a branch
he said to me not to tell any one
or he would put me up there
i ran home and i did not say anything
tippy had a wolf pup
it got in his milking barn so he shot it
it made it back home half dead
i watched dad put it in a black bag
and he hit it with a shovel tell it died
my dad nick name me little imp
when i found it out it hurt
i was trying to be their good girl
i was mad about that
i was not a little devil
i thought i was going to hell at the time
i was angry and took it out on my sisters
and did things like braking windows
at a school that was empty
in the summer time played school there
we got in trouble later on
for messing up the floors
we put chemicals on them
that they left inside also
there was a boy down the road that let me shoot
his bee-bee gun
one night i thought i would go and get it
so i up and went outside
my mom and dad yelled for me and
i hid in the tall grass
but then the baby boy's family showed up and i got
back in my room and told them i was sleeping
in the closet but they seen me sneak back into the
house
i got the belt that night
i found a girl in the square dancing place
her name was the same as mine
then my dad went to alaska to make money
i turned six during that time
mom through a B day party
i remembered

i missed her last call, unless it was her family calling her friends to let us know.
she was a great supporter, and to me, a great inspiration as a writer, showing me to describe things as they occur in subjectivity . . . the last time i saw her, it was for the christian sing-along at her residential home.
i feel bedraggled i can't remember more.
i loved our many nice talks in astoria and seaside.
